Getting your guests' photos off their phones and onto yours
Every couple has the same problem: a hundred phones took a hundred versions of your day, and most of them will never leave the camera roll. Here's what people try, and why most of it doesn't work.
Instagram hashtags
You ask guests to tag #SarahAndJames2026, and maybe a third of them remember to, and only the ones who were already going to post anyway. Anyone who isn't on Instagram — or doesn't want their photos public — is excluded by default.
A WhatsApp or group text
Works for the first hour. By the reception, nobody's checking a group chat with ninety unread messages, and the photos that do get sent arrive at whatever compression WhatsApp feels like that day.
A QR code gallery
No account for the guest, no public post, no group chat to mute. They scan, they upload, it's in your gallery — whether they're your photographer's assistant or your gran who's never used a QR code before.
