It gives guests a mission instead of a vague request — and the results show it.
How it works on the night
Add a short list of prompts to your table card, next to the code — "find the worst dance move," "get a selfie with someone you just met," "catch the bouquet toss mid-air." Guests upload through the same code either way; the prompts just give them a reason to look for something specific.
Prompts that work for a mixed-age room
Keep a few simple enough for kids ("find something blue") and a few that need a bit of nerve ("get the DJ to pose"). The mix is what keeps both ends of the guest list involved past the first hour.

A gallery with more range than "everyone at their table, smiling" — because you asked for something more specific than just "take a photo."
