Google Photos or iCloud for Your Wedding — Why Shared Albums Miss Half the Photos

A shared album is free, so every couple tries it. Here is why it usually collects a fraction of the photos a QR gallery does.

The free option first: a shared album in Google Photos or iCloud. It costs nothing, and for a small family it can work. The catch is what it asks of your guests. A Google Photos shared album needs a Google account, the app installed, an invitation accepted and an understanding of what a "partner sharing" or "collaborative album" even is. An iCloud shared album needs every guest to own an Apple device. On a real wedding guest list, a large share of people fall at one of those hurdles — and the album ends up with photos from the few who already use the platform. A QR gallery removes the platform entirely: guests scan a card on the table, upload from any phone at full resolution, and everything lands in one private gallery you and your guests can browse and download afterwards.

How it works

1

Create your QR card

Choose a template, add your names and wedding date, and generate your unique upload link and QR code in minutes.

2

Place cards at the wedding

Print the QR card anywhere you like and put one on each table. Guests scan it with their phone camera.

3

Collect every photo

All guest photos and videos land in one private gallery. Browse, download in full resolution and share with everyone.
